Most Shopify stores have 3 to 5 issues they don't know about.

They don't throw errors. They don't look broken. They just quietly stop visitors from buying, on every page visit, every day.

You can't see them because you know your store too well. You know what you meant to build. A stranger sees something different.

  • Traffic coming in but sales not matching, and no clear reason why
  • Mobile experience broken on devices you don't test on
  • Trust signals missing exactly where buyers need them
  • Checkout friction costing you at the final step
  • Pricing, currency, or availability errors visible to every visitor
  • Speed issues losing buyers before the page even loads

Three steps. Seven days. A clear picture.

No long engagements, no retainers. A focused audit with a concrete output.

01

I review your store

Homepage, product pages, collection pages, cart and checkout, on desktop and mobile. I look at it the way a cold visitor would, not the way you do.

02

You get the report

Every issue documented with screenshots, a plain-English explanation of why it's costing you sales, and a fix ranked by impact. No padding, no generic advice.

03

You decide what's next

Implement the fixes yourself, hand them to your developer, or bring me in. Beyond the fixes, most stores have automation opportunities that recover revenue on autopilot: abandoned checkouts, email flows, inventory alerts. The audit surfaces those too.

A report you can actually use.

Not a vague overview. Specific findings with specific fixes.

I spent 20 years in QA engineering finding the things that break. Not the obvious failures, but the subtle ones that only show up when you look carefully. I've spent the last 3 years applying that same discipline to Shopify stores.

The issues that cost Shopify brands the most revenue are almost never the ones they're aware of. That's what I look for.

Real issues from recent audits.

None of them were obvious. All of them were costing sales on every page visit, every day.

UK clothing brand · paid ads
Every product page was showing USD pricing. The store was running ads to UK buyers, but the currency hadn't been configured — every price showed in dollars, no GBP symbol, numbers ending in .99.
A trust failure before anyone read a product description. Fixed in under an hour.
Fashion brand · trading since 1964
A template content section had never been filled in. Every visitor saw placeholder text — paid traffic, organic, referrals, all of them.
Sixty years of brand history, undermined by a two-minute fix nobody had spotted.
Home goods store · Shopify
The review carousel on every product page linked out to Amazon listings. The app had been misconfigured on install — the section designed to build confidence was routing buyers to a competitor with a checkout.
Every customer who clicked a review was leaving the store.
Sportswear brand · mobile
Trust badges and payment security icons showed on desktop checkout. On mobile, completely absent. The store looked credible on a laptop and unfinished on a phone.
Mobile was over 70% of their traffic. The trust signals weren't showing where most buyers were making the decision.

The audit is the starting point.

Most clients find the report opens up more than they expected. Here's what typically comes next.

Fix

Implementation Sprint

I fix what the audit found. Shopify theme changes, app configuration, mobile UX improvements. Done-for-you, delivered fast.

Automate

Automation Build

Abandoned checkout recovery, email flows, inventory alerts, customer follow-ups. Built in n8n, running in the background while you focus on the business.

Retain

Ongoing Support

Monthly retainer for brands that want continued optimisation: testing, monitoring, and improving as the store grows.

Common questions.

Who is this for?
Founder-led Shopify brands with 1 to 50 staff. You're getting traffic but conversion is lower than it should be, or you know something is off but can't pinpoint it. You don't need a full agency. You need a clear diagnosis.
What do you actually look at?
Homepage, collection pages, product pages, cart and checkout, on desktop and mobile. I look at page speed, trust signals, navigation, pricing display, social proof, CTAs, and mobile UX. I also check for things most people miss: duplicate scripts, broken elements, placeholder text left live, currency display issues.
Do you implement the fixes too?
The audit and implementation are separate. The report tells you exactly what to fix. You can do it yourself, hand it to your developer, or bring me in. There's no obligation to continue after the audit.
How long does it take?
7 days from when the audit starts. We book a discovery call first, agree on scope, and I'll give you a confirmed start date. The report and walkthrough call are delivered within the week.
What if the report isn't useful?
The discovery call is free. If it doesn't look like a good fit after talking through your store, there's nothing to pay. If you go ahead and the report doesn't surface anything actionable, we'll talk about it. I'm not interested in delivering reports that don't help.

The audit price is £1,500.
